Buy nowThe GCPD is an ACEND-accredited program that combines graduate education with the necessary coursework and supervised practice to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Students engage in diverse rotations, including clinical, ambulatory, WIC/pediatric, management, food service, and a concentration in either Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) or Public Health (PH). The program emphasizes interdisciplinary learning and prepares graduates for various roles in nutrition and public health sectors.
The GCPD integrates graduate coursework with supervised practice experiences. Students pursue one of the following degrees: Food Systems +7 Food Systems +7 Food Systems +7 Master of Science (MS) in Nutritional Sciences Includes courses in biostatistics, epidemiology, and nutritional sciences. Culminates in a capstone project or thesis. Additional 30 credits of RDN practice experience. Food Systems +2 Food Systems +2 Food Systems +2 Food Systems +2 Food Systems +2 Food Systems +2 Master of Public Health (MPH) in Public Health Nutrition Focuses on public health coursework, practicum, and fieldwork. Culminates in a capstone project or thesis. Additional 30 credits of RDN practice experience.
