The Massage Therapy program prepares students for entry-level positions as professional massage therapists and the graduate is eligible to take the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam given by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB), required for licensure in South Carolina. All credits in the Massage Therapy Program must be taken as supervised, on-site hours. Distance Learning my not be applied to this program. Employment opportunities include private practice, hospitals and health care facilities, physical fitness facilities, sports medicine clinics, spas, and hotels/resorts.
