Towson University`s entry-level Master of Science in Occupational Therapy is designed to prepare graduates to assume key roles in practice, research, education, or administration. The program emphasizes high-quality services for diverse client groups and advances the practice of occupational therapy.
The program includes: Comprehensive coursework in occupational therapy theories and practices Two Level II Fieldwork experiences, each lasting 12 weeks (480 hours), providing in-depth clinical exposure in areas such as adult physical rehabilitation, mental health, and pediatrics Integration of evidence-based practice and research methodologies Preparation for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination
