Description

The MSOT program at Jefferson's East Falls campus is a hybrid, full-time program spanning approximately 2.5 years. It combines bi-weekly on-campus sessions with online learning components, allowing students to engage deeply with the material while accommodating diverse learning styles. The program emphasizes a holistic approach to occupational therapy, preparing students to address the physical, emotional, and social needs of clients across various settings.

Course Curriculum

The MSOT program is structured to provide a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The curriculum includes: Year 1: Courses in applied anatomy, health conditions, foundations of occupation-centered practice, neuroscience, and environmental competence. Introduction to fieldwork experiences. Year 2: Advanced interventions focusing on human performance and social participation. Extended fieldwork placements (Level II). Courses in evidence-based practice, program design, and clinical leadership.
